Christmas is so wonderful!

I just love this time of year when we get together with family! It's an amazing thing to commemmorate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ and feel such love and peace because of HIM...Without his birth NONE of us would have any hope. Do we all really realize that??? It's wonderful!

It's almost Thanksgiving

This is such a great time of year. I attended a Blessings Party last night. Talk about wonderful! What could be better than a blessings party to focus in on what is great and wonderful in a persons life? I learned 5 important things to do every day to stay on top of the world. It's a list of 5 things that a person can do EVERY day to change their life for good. The 5 things are:
1. As soon as your eyes pop open in the morning ask yourself this question: What do I LOVE about myself? Then give an answer......
2. What do I have to look forward to today?
3. What does Heavenly Father want me to learn today?
4. Who can I serve today?
5. What am I grateful for?
AND THE LAST THINGS IS: LAUGH OUT LOUD EVERYDAY! (That's just an added bonus)

So....you are guaranteed to change your life in 14 days if you do each and every one of these things every day for 14 days. Try it....If it doesn't work, and you honestly do it for 14 days and don't notice a difference, I will give you a thousand dollars or the biggest bag of M&M's they make. (Hmmmm....which one will I choose?)

Pat and Ted at the Pyramids in Giza, Egypt

We had a wonderful time in Egypt in September and I decided I had better post a picture to prove we were really there. The Ali family were great hosts and we appreciate their hospitality.
Now we are back to life in Eagar. YEAH! The leaves have changed to a beautiful red, orange, and gold.

Wow! Summer is over just like that!

What a fast and furious summer is was for me! I did a lot of running around. It seemed like I was always coming home, unpacking my suitcase, washing my clothes, repacking my suitcase, leaving again in time to start the whole process over again. BUT consequently I had a ton of fun! We spent time in Tucson, Mesa/Phoenix, New Mexico, Idaho, and Utah. We got Preston ready for his mission and he has been in the MTC one week today! He has written home that he LOVES LOVES LOVES it. You might want to check out his blog for updated letters about him. His address is elderprestonhaws.blogspot.com.

Life is GOOD!

We had a most amazing weekend with all our children and grandchildren at Roosevelt Lake over Memorial Day Weekend. We enjoyed being on the lake in Buddy and Trisha's boats and watching the kids have fun in the water. Okay....we had fun in the water too I must admit! But it sure wasn't as easy to pull yourself up into the boat from the water as it used to be!

TAPP at Roosevelt Lake Memorial Weekend

Buddy has a new boat so we took this picture in front of his new boat.

Ted and Pats Posterity (TAPP)

This is our family! After church sunday we all posed for a picture. Kathy Koin joined us also.

Preston and our Christmas Tree

Preston and Dallin each got a present from Kathy Koin with a $20.00 bill tucked inside.

Christmas Excitement

Chloe and Max arrived with Buddy and Sara friday night.

We all went sledding up water canyon

We Loved Being together this christmas

It was So much fun having the kids come home this year. We had a Blast! On saturday we all loaded up and drove up water canyon (because there was lots of snow up there) and went sledding and tubing down the mountains slopes. Watching the kids have fun was the best part for me! It reminded me of days gone by when my kids were little and we used to have fun playing in the snow. Now it's fun to watch them with their kids. Chloe, Max, Annie, and Jensen were fun to watch. Jeff and Bobbie were there with their kids also and that made it even more fun!

Christmas Eve 2008

Me and my girls got matching pajama's again this year. We missed having Trisha with us this year. We sent her pair of pajama's home with MaryAnn to give her later tho.

Some GREAT family time

Annie and Jensen had a BLAST sledding and we had a BLAST watching them!
